Our church and multi-purpose hall are available for rent for a variety of purposes, including weddings, receptions and family functions.
Terms and Conditions
Below are the terms and conditions:
Bookings: All bookings that pertains to the Church Main Sanctuary and Multi-Purpose Hall are to be made at the Church Office. Application and approval are to be in writing. Upon booking, a booking fee of 10% of the total price is required. This booking fee is not refundable but transferable to another date. Full payment must be made before the use of the said facility.
Duration: The Duration of the function must not exceed six hours (includes preparation time) and should be concluded by 10.30pm. Extended hours has to be approved and may result in additional charges. Rehearsals for weddings should be concluded by 10.00pm.
Political Meetings, Gambling, Smoking, Alcoholic Beverages & Lewd Dancing are strictly prohibited on the church premises.
The Electric Organ, Piano and Drums in the church main sanctuary may be used free of charge. For the use of guitars and amplifiers special permission must be obtained.
In the event, the church organist or AV Team is not required, the allocation will be directed to the Church Fund.
Speeches/Forums: The Name, NRIC Number, Address & Telephone number of every speaker must be furnished upon booking.
Liability: St Barnabas Church does not accept any liability or responsibility for any unforeseen incidents.
Breakages/damages: Any church equipment or furniture that are broken or damaged, intentionally or otherwise during the course of the function, must be reported to the office.
The use of hooks, nails & tapes on the walls and the pews in the main sanctuary is strictly prohibited.
